Robert H. Treman State Park

IMGP6638 I had the realization that after I transferred posts from an old blog to this one, I kind of failed to update regularly with new posts so here I am! I figured I'd work way my up to more recent adventures, starting with this one. My husband and I took a trip out to Robert H. Treman State Park in western New York last June. We decided to camp there and stayed in the park itself in one of the state run cabins. The cabins were a pretty decent size and came with electricity. [And a full size fridge which was nice.] It was also my dog's first camping trip and she had a great time. After being woken up early by park construction, we decided to start our day. It was pouring when we headed out and rained on and off during the first part of the hike. The trees made a nice canopy to help block most of the rain out. The total hike took about three hours. She was a little bamboozled at first but then had fun in it. IMGP6661 View of the Lucifer falls from the top. 115 feet of waterfall!
